Accessible transport, also known as transport for people with reduced mobility (PRM), is a transport service specifically designed for people who cannot use regular public transport due to a disability, illness, injury, or advanced age.
Unlike a regular taxi, an accessible transport vehicle is equipped with an access ramp, a wheelchair tie-down system, and specific features that guarantee the passenger’s safety and comfort throughout the journey. The driver is trained to assist passengers with reduced mobility, from pick-up at their home until arrival at their destination.
